Flamingo Park: Municipal Fields for Miami Beach

Flamingo Park sits in the middle of Miami Beach — one of the most scrutinized park systems in Florida, serving one of its densest communities. Our field work there had to satisfy the city's standards, its residents' expectations, and South Florida's climate all at once.

What we built

Athletic field construction engineered for South Florida conditions: intense UV, salt air, and rain events that dump serious water fast. The drainage design carried the project — Miami Beach's water table gives a field nowhere cheap to send a storm, so the engineering had to do it properly.
