Futsal Comes to Viera

Futsal — soccer's fast, technical, small-sided cousin — is exploding in Florida, and Viera got ahead of it. We built purpose-designed futsal courts that give Brevard County's soccer community the game's real surface instead of a borrowed basketball court.

Why purpose-built matters

Futsal is defined by its surface: a hard, true, low-bounce court that rewards touch and speed. Painting lines on existing concrete misses the point — ball response, footing and player safety all come from a surface system designed for the sport.

What we built

Regulation futsal courts with properly prepared bases, sport-specific surfacing and precise line work, built to shrug off Central Florida sun and afternoon storms. Durable enough for open community play; true enough for competitive development.

The bigger picture

Small-sided facilities are the sleeper investment in Florida parks right now — high usage per square foot, modest footprint, and programming from youth development to adult leagues. Viera's courts are the template we now point other communities toward.
